Nadir has helped us to understand each other better (both as a couple and relating to each other as parents and children). He has an ability to thoughtfully reflect the bigger picture, and helped us to explore the reasons that we act the way we do. He is an excellent listener, hearing the small details of our experiences. We have never felt judged by Nadir. It is easy to talk and share emotions- he has a gentle humour and puts us all at ease. We are very grateful for his support.

Nadir is very sympathetic and helped me find hope in my hard times. He is very easy to talk to and offers good advice and support when I needed it. He counselled me when I struggled with mental health issues such as depression and psychosis. He motivated me to go back into education and that has aided me into living a better life.

We would like to say it has been an absolute pleasure to experience our family therapy sessions with Nadir over the past few months. Nadir has offered us so many good tips, given great advice and really listened to what we had to say. Nothing was ever too much trouble and he showed such empathy with often difficult to talk about situations which has been really helpful. We will both miss our fortnightly sessions. Thank you Nadir

Nadir’s professionalism, understanding and sympathetic approach of my symptoms allowed me to put my complete trust in him disclosing my mental health and a physical disability. Without Nadir’s intervention especially when I was in crisis, I would not have been able to cope at the time without his guidance and support. His counselling sessions were crucial and over time lead to a high degree of positiveness to address my issues giving me a fresh perspective to carry on leading a normal lifestyle. Nadir is an inspiration to all that require his service.

Nadir has been a great mentor and more importantly a wonderful support system for me. He has helped me make peace with my past, so I do not spoil my present. He is extremely easy to talk to and offers superb advice when I needed it. He counselled me when I was struggling with depression and motivated me to go back into education and employment. What I admire most about Mr Khan is an excellent listener. He has enabled me to reinvent myself and be more loving towards my family members. Myself and my family are grateful for his support.

My family and I have found working with Nadir (2 plus months now) to be really useful and supportive. We have met with Nadir both face to face and over zoom and in each setting, he has kept everybody engaged and included - even those who report to not want to engage - they do in the end...! I feel like my family has found some peace and stability and I’m sure it’s no coincidence that the timing coincides with the weeks and exercises we’ve completed with Nadir!

Nadir is very perceptive and inclusive. This can be very welcoming to a family that is just starting family therapy or a family with past negative family therapy experiences. Therefore, I believe this is very helpful when learning and talking about hard topics and learning new coping strategies.

I will be forever grateful for the impact that Nadir had on my divided family. My daughters found him to be engaging and understanding and he helped them so see things differently. His influence led to a reduction in the animosity of divorce and to a functional co-parenting agreement. I only wish that we had gone to him sooner.

Nadir has effortlessly made me feel at ease and comfortable to open up and visit my past. He has made my journey to healing more easier than I would have imagined as he would ask me thought provoking questions which challenged me to think deeper. I valued his subtlety when he transcended my mind back to the time of the prophet. It was a precious moment as I visualised myself to be present with Him Nadir has inspired me to carry on talking and expressing my mind and emotions. His calming nature and non judgemental demeanour allowed me to trust him to elaborate even more. He helped to rewire my emotions and drew life lessons from a faith based perspective whilst taking gems from the scriptures created a safe space with my thoughts. Breaking barriers and making links to the past made it easier to comprehend, heal and move on. Talking isn't such a bad thing after all!

I wanted to thank you for your help over the last 6 months since we first made contact. You really helped me to make sense of a lot of things that were going on in my life and to put a lot of context to situations. I believe it has helped me get through one of the most testing times of my life. You have helped me from fleetering with suicide back to a form of normality Alhamdulilah. You always brought it back to Allah SWT and our beloved Prophet saw, the teachings of Islam, reminding me of the difficulties faced by our pious predecessors and how they went about it whilst discussing the lessons learnt from them. For Muslims going through cultural familial or just family issues, I could not recommend you highly enough. I pray Allah SWT blesses you, your family and your work. Jazakallah Khair and thank you.
